Information the app does not ask for
You do not need an account to use PropertySmartSG. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, password or login details as part of normal app use.
What stays on your iPhone
Saved projects, districts and HDB areas are stored locally on the device. The app allows up to five saved places in total. These saves are a convenience feature, not an account or cloud backup.
Calculator inputs are processed locally. Search and filter text is matched against locally cached data where possible. PropertySmartSG does not receive those inputs as a user profile.
Deleting the app, clearing its storage or changing devices may remove saved places and local preferences.
Public data downloads and caching
The app downloads public JSON files from propertysmartsg.com/data/... and caches them locally so project, district, HDB and ranking pages can load efficiently. These files contain public market summaries rather than personal app account data.
When the app requests a JSON file, PropertySmartSG, Cloudflare and related hosting systems may process technical details such as the IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and security signals. These records support delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. They are not used to create a PropertySmartSG app account.
Maps and location
The app uses Apple MapKit to show projects, HDB areas and nearby places. Version 1.0 does not request access to your current location. Apple may process map requests under its own privacy terms.
No ads or tracking SDKs in version 1.0
Version 1.0 does not show ads. It does not include third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting or consent.
The app does not ask for permission to track activity across other companies' apps or websites. It does not include SKAdNetwork IDs.
If a later version adds advertising, analytics, diagnostics or consent tools, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before release.
Support messages
The app does not collect an email address during normal use. If you choose to email [email protected], the message and any details you include will be handled through the email services used by you and PropertySmartSG.
Data sources and independence
Private residential sale and rental data is sourced from URA public datasets. HDB resale and rental data is sourced from data.gov.sg and HDB public datasets. PropertySmartSG processes and summarizes public data for easier browsing.
PropertySmartSG is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by URA, HDB, data.gov.sg or any Singapore Government agency.
